Creamy peanut butter, ripe bananas and a touch of sweet local honey. We start with dry roasted peanuts meaning there is no additional oil added and blend with a ripe banana puree. Our honey comes from Two Gander Farm which is an hour outside of Philadelphia.
Unlike other natural peanut butters which separate, the honey bonds the peanuts and bananas together so Better Butter never has separation!
All of our products are perishable and need to be refrigerated. The Honey Nut Banana has a shelf-life of 30 days in the fridge. However, you can freeze the jars for up to 6 months and place in the fridge to thaw once you are ready to use.
Could we extend the 30 day life? Sure, but then our ingredient list wouldn’t look the same! We pride ourselves in never using preservatives or other unnatural ingredients.
Honey Nut Banana is perfect for spreading on toast, waffles, or crackers, making sandwiches, replacing butter in baking, or just to eat by the spoonful. Great snack before and after working out.

This spread is a rich, dark chocolate punctuated by chocolate chips and will have you wondering how it can be so healthy. We start with dry roasted nuts meaning no additional oils are added. We mix the peanut butter with a pumpkin puree to bring down the calories and fat by about half and then we fold in a homemade chocolate made of cocoa, canola oil and agave nectar. Lastly, we add mini chocolate chip from Enjoy Life because their chocolate doesn’t contain soy lecithin or dairy and we love a clean ingredient list.
Compared to Nutella which has 21 grams of processed sugar per 2 tbsp serving, Nutty Chocolate Chip has just 5 grams of sugar in the form of agave nectar per 2 tbsp serving. Agave Nectar scores much lower than sugar on the glycemic index making it less likely to trigger the body’s mechanisms for fat storage.
The pumpkin puree which is used to cut the calories and fat, also provides more than 30% of Vitamin A for the day per serving!

It’s pumpkin pie in a jar! At first we though this was a seasonal flavor, but honestly after hearing person after person say it was one of the best things they had ever tasted, we decided this flavor was here to stay. We make peanut butter from dry roasted nuts, which means no additional oils are added. Then pumpkin puree is folded in and sweetened by maple syrup from nearby Lancaster County. To finish off this great spread we add all the fall spices – cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and clove.
Maple Pumpkin is better than peanut butter and pumpkin butter because it’s the best of both worlds! Pumpkin butter typically has 10-20 grams of sugar per 2 tbsp serving, while we cap it at 5 grams per 2 tbsp serving. The addition of pumpkin, maple and spices really liven up peanut butter too.
